Day 34/365 ~ 2012

I spent a blissful afternoon last saturday making this wreath while watching "Julie & Julia." Meanwhile, Dan ran errands with the kids and took them to the park.  It was so refreshing & relaxing.  It felt like such a gift!

(I saw this wreath on Pinterest, the tutorial is here.  You need to scroll down a bit before you get to it.  It only requires one yard of fabric, a styrofoam form, some pins and is SO easy!  It didn't take long at all ~ I 'll either hang it in Kaitlin's room after the party, or use it for Valentine's Day/Easter).



And the latest craft finished. Her photo banner.
She has changed so much this year.
At least in appearance.
Her personality/likes/dislikes are very much the same.

Preparations are underway for a Ballerina Birthday!
Dan & I made these ribbon wands for our little friends.



I love doing these little crafts.
The Bug is delighted over the sea of tulle in the house.

Day 32/365

My boys' Crocs at Tae Kwon Do.
So perfectly them. Matthew's crocs in his favorite color with the straps up so that they are easier to slip on and off and maximizes efficiency.
And Andrew's mismatched shoes.
Why hunt for a matching set when these are right here?
Not to mention, a little silliness always puts a smile on Andrew's face.

Day 31/365 ~ 2012

Ready for school!
The red cowboy boots, "mermaid tails" and puppy were her contribution to this outfit.
She has her own sense of style.  :)

A day off school.
Bowling followed by Happy Meals.
This is the "good stuff."
I truly love being with my kids.

Sewing a star on Andrew's Tae Kwon Do uniform turned into a sewing adventure for Matthew.
He made a wallet!  (This was prior to all of the coloring/decorating).  And loved it.  Matthew is my builder/maker/constructor. 



...And this was his delight over zig zag stitch! :)
